Know Your Tea

Place of Origin: Meghalaya, India

To begin with, only the highest quality tea leaves are hand-picked and sorted. As soon as the leaves have been collected, they are withered in order to remove excess moisture.
It is then oxidized after rolling, resulting in its distinctive color and flavor. Once the oxidation process is complete, the tea leaves are ready to be smoke-dried.
The smoke from pine wood gives the tea a unique smoky flavor and aroma. The tea is sorted and packaged after it has been smoke-dried.
The result is a cup of Meghalaya black tea that is rich, full-bodied, and bursting with a delicious smoky flavor that cannot be found in any other type of tea.
